Job Description

As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for providing timely assistance to animals in need across India. Your role will involve responding promptly to emergency and general cruelty-case calls and emails.

You will work collaboratively with senior paravets and office assistants to provide effective support, adhering to our standard operating procedures and consulting with relevant supervisors when necessary.

Your duties will also include coordinating with approved animal-protection organizations, volunteers, activists, government bodies, and designated officials to facilitate emergency rescues across the country.

In addition, you will file police complaints, visit relevant agencies and case sites when necessary, and perform similar tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
  • Voluntary or other experience handling emergency and cruelty-case responses for animals is an asset
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Fluency in Hindi and English
  • Knowledge of other local Indian languages is beneficial
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, including multi-tasking
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal patiently with animal-protection organizations, volunteers, and other contacts
  • Passion for ending cruelty to animals and helping animals in need
  • Compassionate, responsible, and self-driven character
  • Outgoing and personable manner with excellent communication skills
  • Adherence to a vegan lifestyle
  • Ability and willingness to travel independently as needed to handle emergency and cruelty cases
  • Supportive position vis-a-vis our philosophy and the ability to advocate for our positions on issues in a professional manner
