Material Handler Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting and verifying engineering materials and spares.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect and verify engineering materials and spares
  • Ensure proper storage, preservation and documentation of materials
  • Issue materials to engineering and maintenance teams accurately
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory checks
  • Coordinate material movement for shutdowns and projects
  • Ensure compliance with PPE, safety and environmental standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2-3 years of experience
  • Proven track record of material handling and management
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)
  • Understanding of stores accounting
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidates with experience in oil & gas, refinery and petrochemical industries will be given preference
