We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional who can lead a team to deliver high-quality testing services.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with test automation techniques, including writing scripts with Selenium & Java, working with CI/CD tools, and using BDD practices.

They should also be familiar with Agile Management tools and defect management tools like Jira, QTest, and have strong knowledge of continuous integration tools like Hudson and Jenkins.

The successful candidate will design, implement, and deliver scalable, maintainable, configurable, and robust test automation frameworks, and analyze and translate requirements into test scripts to ensure complete test coverage.

They should also have a thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process, industry standard defect tracking tools, and knowledge on how to set up and run tests for multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari).

The job requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Appium testing, with the last 4-6 years being in Web and Mobile testing using Selenium WebDriver and Appium.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality testing services
  • Design, implement, and deliver scalable, maintainable, configurable, and robust test automation frameworks
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test cycles
  • Identify and report defects to the development team
  • Collaborate with other QA resources to exchange ideas and findings and understand feature implementation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Appium testing
  • Experience in test automation techniques, including writing scripts with Selenium & Java
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools
  • Knowledge of Cucumber, JBehave, Jasmine, or similar testing frameworks using BDD practices
  • Strong knowledge of continuous integration tools like Hudson and Jenkins
  • Thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process
  • Industry standard defect tracking tools
  • Ability to work with multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari)
  • SQL querying skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
