Our team is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Specialist who will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. System administrators also actively resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company.

Job Purpose:

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including Linux experience (Centos, RHEL, Ubuntu, Suse), Samba and NFS configuration in multiplatform environments, and knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter & Horizon View.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
  • Participate in administration of backup operations.
  • Maintain floating license servers.
  • Apply OS and firmware patches and upgrades.
  • Upgrade and configure infrastructure systems and software per as needed.
  • Maintain server room and colocation facility environmental and monitoring equipment.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Linux administration (Centos, RHEL, Ubuntu, Suse).
  • Strong working knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter & Horizon View.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 OS including installation and configuration.
  • Windows Server OS and Active Directory.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux including command line.
  • An understanding of servers, networking, storage, and render systems for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
  • Redhat Certified System Engineer (RHCE) is must.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.
