Systems Operations Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Operations Engineer to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. As a key member of our production support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our IT infrastructure, including Windows and Unix server operating systems, client-server technologies, and network components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the impact of incidents and classify their severity
- Run incident bridges and engage appropriate support teams to resolve issues
- Manage communications to stakeholders and senior management
- Manage root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain run books and knowledge articles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiencies, resiliencies, and automations
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in production support teams, including troubleshooting application issues, installations, deployments, and configurations
- Experience with Windows or Linux administration, including IIS, SQL Server Administration, and Windows PowerShell scripting
- Change, problem, and incident management experience
- Knowledge of ITIL 4 or 5 and Agile/Kanban methodologies
- Experience with DevOps tools, such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SRE, application, system, and database monitoring tools, such as ITRS, AppDynamics, and Splunk
- Knowledge of SSL certificate management and ticket tracking tools, such as ServiceNow and Jira
- Experience with BCP testing and ITIL 4 or 5
