Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Specialist for Histopathology Image Analysis

As a highly skilled artificial intelligence specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing cutting-edge deep learning models to analyze digitized images of cancer tissues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, biomedical engineering, or a related field, with extensive research experience in machine learning, deep learning, or biomedical image analysis.

We are seeking a talented individual who can collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate image-based predictions with molecular and clinical data. This will involve working on complex problems, such as designing and training convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and other machine learning models on large histology image datasets.

Your primary responsibility will be to preprocess, annotate, and manage these datasets to support model training and validation. Additionally, you will analyze model performance and contribute to improving accuracy, efficiency, and robustness. Your expertise in programming languages like Python and experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch will be invaluable in this role.

To excel in this position, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment. A published record of research findings in peer-reviewed journals is a plus.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, Computational Biology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated research experience in machine learning, deep learning, or biomedical image analysis.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with digital pathology workflows, image preprocessing/augmentation, and annotation tools.
