Aluminium Door Designer

Valueline is seeking a skilled Aluminium Door Designer to join our team. As an Aluminium Door Designer, you will be responsible for creating and developing detailed designs for aluminium doors and windows, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and building standards.

• Design Development: Create and develop detailed designs for aluminium doors and windows, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and building standards.
• Prepare materials quotation using the orgadata, accurate cost estimation/commercial quotations.
• Prepare shop drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, engineers and sales executives to understand design requirements and translate them into feasible and innovative solutions.
• Prepare technical drawings, 2D and 3D models, and design layouts using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Assist in resolving any design-related issues or conflicts that arise during the installation.
• Conduct site visits if needed to assess project progress and ensure the correct implementation of design specifications.
• Collaborate with the estimation team to provide design inputs for accurate cost estimation and budgeting.
• Optimize designs to minimize waste and reduce manufacturing costs without compromising quality.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in M.S. Office
• Proficiency in designing the windows using the Orgadata/window maker and other relevant software
• Strong understanding of aluminium profiles, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in the relevant industry
• Knowledge on the glass specifications
• Design software such as SketchUp or 3D modelling tools.
• Knowledge in working with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
