Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building high-quality frontends for customer-facing products.

Responsibilities:
  • Build engaging and user-friendly frontends for customer-facing products.
  • Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering team members, and QA to deliver high-quality frontends.
Requirements:
  1. Hold a university degree in Computer Science or a comparable field and possess at least 8 years of experience working as a Software Engineer.
  2. Have extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript and ES6, including familiarity with modern web development practices.
  3. Possess strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including expertise in styling and layout techniques.
  4. Have in-depth experience with TypeScript, React, and Amplify, including proficiency in using these technologies to build scalable and maintainable frontends.
  5. Be well-versed in frontend testing frameworks, particularly Vitest, and have a solid understanding of unit testing and integration testing principles.
  6. Have hands-on experience with Node.js, npm, Vite for front-end tooling and bundling, and be familiar with code quality tools such as ESLint and Prettier.
  7. Be proficient in REST APIs, including understanding API design principles and best practices.
  8. Have extensive experience with git and semantic versioning, including expertise in using these tools to manage code repositories and track changes.
  9. Have hands-on experience with Jest, Storybook, and Plotly.js, and be comfortable with using these tools to create interactive and data-driven visualizations.
  10. Have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, including expertise in designing and implementing efficient data storage and retrieval systems.
  11. Understand security best practices for web applications, including knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability mitigation strategies.
  12. Have experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and JFrog Artifactory, including proficiency in using these tools to automate workflows and streamline development processes.
  13. Be familiar with Agile workflows, particularly Scrum and SAFe, and have experience in applying these methodologies to drive project success.
  14. Have experience with AWS and other Cloud platforms, and be comfortable with using these services to deploy and scale frontends.
  15. Be an outspoken team player with a proactive mindset, and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  16. Fluent English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
