About the Role

The Quality Engineering team is expanding to focus on defining and refining an evolving suite of tests.

As a System Tester, you will work closely with Developers, Solution Architects, and Product Managers to define and develop test coverage for use cases.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to validate customer use cases, owning and driving testing to completion, reviewing product requirements and design documents, and identifying and documenting defects discovered during testing.

You will also be a voice for FlashBlade Systems Quality, ensuring the Customer First approach is at the heart of every conversation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in software testing and test automation, preferably within an enterprise storage product environment.
  • Strong knowledge of file systems, file system protocols, and data replication, including read/write performance, I/O datapath, NFS, SMB, S3, ACLs, and networking layers.
  • Good understanding of end customers' use/deployment of Storage Systems and application ecosystems.
  • Ability to deploy and use 3rd party IO tools to simulate IO test workloads.
  • Stellar communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile, Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration organizations.
