Senior Odoo Development Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Odoo Developer to join our team at Freedom Property Investors, Australia’s largest and fastest-growing Property Investment Company. As an Odoo Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and customizing Odoo applications to meet our specific business needs and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and understanding business requirements to identify Odoo implementation opportunities.
- Designing, developing, and customizing Odoo modules and applications to meet specific business needs.
- Developing custom reports, dashboards, and workflows within the Odoo framework.
- Integrating Odoo with other systems and applications using APIs and web services.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for Odoo-related issues.
- Staying updated on the latest Odoo developments and best practices.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of Odoo solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Odoo Developer.
- Strong understanding of Odoo development principles, including modules, views, models, and workflows.
- Proficiency in Odoo development tools and technologies (e.g., Python, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Experience with API integration and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Odoo ERP implementation projects.
- Familiarity with HR Systems.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Certification in Odoo development.
Technical Requirements:
- Windows 11 and above operating system or MacOS 13+.
- 256GB Storage space - minimum.
- 8GB RAM - minimum.
- Dual Core CPU - minimum.
- Camera: HD Webcam (720p).
- Headset: Noise canceling (preferably).
- Internet Speed: 50 Mbps - minimum.
