Job Title:

Instrumentation and Automation Specialist


As an Instrumentation and Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instrumentation Systems: Install, configure, and commission PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems, flow meters, pressure sensors, level transmitters, analysers, actuators, Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV), Flow Control Valves (FCV), and electrical panel integration.
  • Cable Laying and Installation: Lay cables with necessary accessories in trenches and trays, perform glanding, termination, and loop/Input-Output (IO) testing in the field, and understand cable schedules and routing drawings.
  • Instrumentation Equipment Configuration and Commissioning: Configure and commission flow and pressure data loggers and other instrumentation equipment.
  • Project Coordination and Management: Coordinate site teams, consultants, and clients related to ICA activities, plan and execute all works, and implement safety protocols to ensure zero injury results.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Assist project management teams in preparing documents, reports, as-built drawings, and other necessary documentation, and communicate project status updates to reporting officers on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • B.E/B. Tech degree in E&I/I&C/C&I/EEE/ECE
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ICA or related fields

Note:

Responsible for providing site clearances to sub-contractors and in-house teams as per the plan. Organize all necessary facilities for sub-contractors, stakeholders, and in-house execution teams to ensure project targets are met, including installation and commissioning activities.
