Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Engineer in our organization. As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with our data science team to design and implement complex algorithms that provide unique insights into our data.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools. You will be responsible for building data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the data science team to build innovative algorithms and models.
  • Utilize agile software development processes to drive iterative improvements to back-end systems.
  • Develop comprehensive data visualizations to inform business decisions.
  • Design and implement data pipelines that meet stringent quality and performance standards.
  • Develop predictive models to answer critical business questions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
  • Familiarity with Bigdata & Google Cloud platforms.
  • Solid work experience with Google cloud Bigdata toolset BigQuery, Airflow, CI/CD with google cloud.
  • Knowledge of industry-wide visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, R).
  • Core Java, Linux, SQL, and scripting language expertise.
  • Experience with Python, Spark, and Hive.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on a dynamic, research-oriented team.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related discipline.
  • ETL process development/maintenance experience.
  • Professional certification.
