Job Title: Conductor Manufacturing Quality Assurance Leader

The Conductor Manufacturing Quality Assurance Leader will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining robust quality systems to ensure the highest standards in conductor manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  • Oversee the entire quality control process, from raw material inspection to finished product evaluation.
  • Ensure all products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
  • Implement quality improvement programs to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and drive initiatives to improve quality perception.
  • Lead and mentor the quality team to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.


Requirements:

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead a team toward achieving quality excellence.
  • First Pass Yield (FPY) Defect and FFR (Field Failure Report)
  • QHSE Score
  • Customer complaint resolution time.
  • Compliance with quality standards and reduction in non-conformities.
  • Implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).


Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Metallurgy) or a related field.
  • Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of conductor/cable manufacturing processes, materials, and quality testing methods.
  • Familiarity with testing standards and equipment related to conductor manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis tools like 8D, Fishbone, or FMEA, 7QC tools, etc
  • 14-16 years of experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in conductor, cable & OPGW manufacturing or a similar industry.
  • Proven track record in implementing and managing QMS in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
