To enhance the employment and experiential opportunities of students in all programs of the University, our team works to counsel, prepare, and boost the hiring potential of students and new graduates entering the job market. We strive to assist in internships and placements for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Placements & Internships:
    • Ensure that pre-placement offers are instituted and systemized by increasing the highest package and PPO companies.
    • Improve the quality of placements in terms of job opportunities, quality of companies visiting the campus, and increase average salaries year on year.
    • Organize summer and winter internships in companies likely to offer conversion into final placements as much as possible.
    • Collect job announcements, descriptions, requirements, job details, and specifications from representatives of interested organizations and share them with students in a timely manner.
  • Corporate Relationship & Coordination:
    • Bring in new clientele and manage relationships with existing corporate clients.
    • Correspond with prospective companies to invite them for campus interviews or online interviews.
    • Support placement logistics such as traveling, accommodation, etc.
    • Follow up on hiring steps to receive placement confirmation, joining date, offer letter, etc.
    • Track all placements using software or systemized methods.
    • Share a database of eligible aspirants with prospective companies based on stipulated criteria.
    • Arrange for interview facilities at the campus (Auditorium, Labs, and Interview rooms).
    • Share industry feedback, trends, and expectations with students and leadership.
  • Career Guidance:
    • Counsel students regularly to increase job acceptance rates.
    • Advocate for students as needed to ensure their expectations and skills level match available jobs in the market.
    • Guide students for successful results at interviews before the interview process starts.
    • Participate in various student assessments with trainers to evaluate students for potential placements.
    • Assist students from interview to onboarding, completing the student career cycle.
    • Provide information, advice, and guidance to students through individual meetings, group sessions, email, etc.
    • Collaborate with the Student Placement Committee in consultation with Heads of Departments and Deans.
  • Training & Skill Development:
    • Organize seminars and pep talks by inviting Industry Veterans.
    • Plan, monitor, and execute Skill Training for various schools.
    • Arrange Industry Visits, Guest Lectures, and On-the-Job Training for the students' community.
    • Arrange skill development training for students such as soft skills, communication, interview skills, mock interviews, interpersonal skills, etc.
    • Design and deliver training for students in consultation with leadership.
