As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in helping organizations enhance their cyber resilience.
This entails navigating the complex landscape of cyber threats and ensuring robust digital asset protection while fostering trust with stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic advice to organizations seeking to become cyber resilient.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on information systems, applications, and network infrastructure using industry-standard methodologies.
- Identify and evaluate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Strong foundation in Governance Risk Compliance (GRC).
Excellent understanding of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification is highly recommended.
Additional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC certifications are advantageous.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cyber security risk assessment or a similar role.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
