Endpoint Security Specialist

">Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting, monitoring, and maintaining our organization's endpoint security infrastructure.

This role requires a strong understanding of endpoint security solutions, including antivirus software, EDR platforms, and vulnerability scanners. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex security data and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint security solutions to ensure the protection of our organization's endpoints.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents involving endpoints, analyzing malware and recommending remediation actions.
  • Monitor endpoint security systems and logs for signs of potential threats or vulnerabilities, performing regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Develop and implement endpoint security policies, procedures, and best practices, working closely with IT teams and other departments.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on security best practices and the proper use of endpoint security tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of endpoint security configurations, incidents, and actions taken, preparing reports and documentation for management review.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or any security-related certificate are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with endpoint security tools and technologies, such as antivirus software, EDR platforms, HDLP, NDLP, CASB, Drive Encryption, Proxy, DAM, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex security data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document incidents, procedures, and recommendations.
