Job Title: Experienced Java Developer

Our company is seeking an experienced and skilled Java developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing web applications using the Struts framework.

In this role, you will work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic, troubleshoot and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions, and participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement web applications using Java and the Struts framework
  • Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Java development
  • Strong expertise with the Struts framework
  • Experience in implementing MVC architecture in web applications
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with relational databases and experience in writing SQL queries
  • Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git
