Job Description

As a skilled Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend systems that power our product. The role involves designing and building GraphQL APIs using NestJS, secure and performant backend services handling large-scale data, and integrating with various technologies like Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB.

  • API Development
    • Design and build RESTful and GraphQL APIs to power our product
  • Secure Backend Services
    • Develop secure and reliable backend services handling large-scale data
  • Integration
    • Integrate with cloud services, message queues, and databases to enable seamless data exchange
  • Collaboration
    • Closely collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver full-stack features and improve the overall product experience
  • Code Quality
    • Write modular, testable, and maintainable code using best practices and coding standards
  • Microservices
    • Build and manage microservices and background workers to ensure efficient and scalable system performance
  • Cloud
    • Use containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes for development, testing, and deployment
  • Testing
    • Maintain high-quality code through unit and integration testing, ensuring reliability and scalability
  • AWS Services
    • Design, build, and maintain secure and efficient backend services using AWS services and tools
  • Database Management
    • Develop efficient queries and data models in Postgres and DynamoDB to ensure optimal database performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development
  • Proficiency with AWS services, including IAM, S3, and Lambda
  • Strong knowledge of Postgres and DynamoDB, including data modeling and query optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
