We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to spearhead our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) initiative. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical expertise in energy storage technologies, system integration, and project execution, along with leadership abilities to guide technical teams and drive innovation.Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of BESS projects from concept to commissioning.
  • He/She will provide technical leadership on battery chemistries (e.g., Li-ion, LFP, solid-state, flow batteries), power electronics, and system integration with renewable energy and grid infrastructure.
  • The individual will oversee project feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and system sizing.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety codes, and regulatory frameworks is paramount.
  • Collaboration with utilities, EPC contractors, and technology providers will be crucial.
  • Developing strategies for O&M (operation & maintenance), performance optimization, and lifecycle management will be key responsibilities.
  • The selected candidate will manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
  • Staying ahead of emerging storage technologies, market trends, and policies to maintain competitive advantage will be essential.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related field is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or a related power/utility sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • A proven track record in BESS system design, integration, and commissioning (utility-scale preferred) is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of grid codes, safety standards, and energy markets is required.
  • Hands-on experience with EMS (Energy Management Systems), SCADA, and controls is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are mandatory.
