About the Role:

• Provide warm and genuine hospitality to every guest, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Anticipate and respond to guest inquiries and requests, recognizing regular guests by name and utilizing their preferred communication method.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of our menu, including daily specials, to ensure quality and consistency in every dish.
• Set up and maintain the host/hostess stand, reviewing the reservation book and making recommendations for optimal table placement.
• Seat guests promptly, ensuring every table is set to the highest standards and every guest feels welcome.
• Display genuine enthusiasm and care when interacting with guests and internal customers, living the Golden Rule.
• Ensure the host desk is equipped with necessary tools and supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Take ownership of guest profiles, contact details, and preferences, ensuring every guest feels valued and respected.
• Engage in guest interactions with sensitivity and tact, anticipating needs and taking ownership of guest requests.
• Adhere to hotel standards and grooming policies, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Participate actively in briefings and meetings, staying informed and engaged in hotel operations.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
