Job Overview

We seek an experienced professional to oversee clinical operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational acumen and leadership skills, with a background in clinical sciences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Ensure consistent achievement of SLAs, identify initiatives for improvement, and support Quality Improvement Programs (QIPs) to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Client Liaison: Provide timely, complete, and articulate communication with clients, highlight issues, and propose solutions to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Manage people-related issues escalated by Team Leads, coordinate with department heads for resolution, and facilitate career planning and goal setting for direct reports.
  • Initiative Development: Develop and implement initiatives that result in measurable improvements, constantly monitor progress, and guide the team towards success.
  • Change Management: Manage various types of changes, including process changes, expansions due to volume increases, new implementations, and organizational changes.
Required Attributes and Skills:
  • Sound knowledge of program processes and access to finer details.
  • Willingness to work under pressure and stay motivated during less demanding periods.
  • Credibility with peers and seniors, positive influence on others, and self-motivation to achieve results.

Relevant Experience and Qualifications:
  • Medical qualification (MBBS, BHMS, BAMS) preferably in clinical sciences.
  • CPC/CIC/CCS certification, additional relevant certifications advantageous.
  • 15 years of experience in BPO/KPO industry, 3+ years as Senior Manager/Director Operations, and experience managing Managers or similar levels.
  • Experience in US healthcare health plan operations (pre-adjudication, post adjudication, or adjudication) preferred, along with implementations/transitions experience.
