Pipe Stress Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Stress Engineer to join our team.

• Design and analyze piping systems for optimal performance and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stress analysis and pipe support design, as well as experience with Caesar II software and pipe supports.

Able to identify various data required to perform surge analysis for each project stage, extract surge force from PIPENET that to be input in the stress analysis and also need to identify the surge force is appropriate or not. Prepare surge analysis report that to be submitted to employer as official deliverable.

Should be able understand the process and analyse the systems for pressure surges that could result from various possible events and provide recommendations to mitigate the same.

Conduct technical reviews of stress analysis and pipe support calculations for underground and above ground piping to ensure compliance to relevant industry standards and safe design practices.

Coordinate with non-metallic pipe vendors to obtain correct pipe properties to ensure stress analysis conforms to vendor supplied parameters.

In-depth knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for Pipe Stress Analysis (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ISO 14692).

Prepare Job execution plan and Work Instructions / Standard drawings, based on ITB requirements.

Estimate the man-hours for projects / proposal and other horizontal/Vertical work share.

Allocate specific jobs to Assigned Engineers and monitor their progress regularly.

Control project schedule, quality and budgeted MANHOUR.

Interact with Client / PMC / Vendor to resolve key issues.

Monitor and adhere all technical requirements and deliverables as per ITB / contract.

Review vendor data and drawings as well as specifications, calculations and all other technical documents to ensure conformity to the ITB requirements.

Initiate Value Engineering solutions and implement in consultation with other disciplines and get approval from client / PMC.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in piping stress analysis and pipe support design.
• Strong background in stress analysis and pipe support design.
• Experience with Caesar II software and pipe supports.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
