We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Product Development Lead to join our team at Boston Scientific. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of new medical device products from concept to launch.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new medical devices.
- Ensure alignment with customer and business needs.
- Apply principles of mechanical engineering, physics, and material science to design and develop new medical devices.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Material Science Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D/NPD in the medical device industry.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of medical grade material sciences and processing (metals, polymers).
- Proficient in CAD design, GD&T, tolerance stack-ups.
- Familiarity with quality system & processes that need to be applied for product development.
