**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading audit and review engagements, preparing tax returns, and drafting financial statements and tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and Review Engagement Management: Plan and execute engagements, perform testing or analytical procedures, prepare all work paper documentation, and lead engagements from start through completion.
  • Preparation of Tax Returns: Input tax returns for clients in tax software.
  • Issue Draft Financial Statements and Draft Tax Returns: Take full responsibility for preparation of deliverables to the client, including financial statements and tax returns.
  • Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, communicate effectively to obtain all required financial/tax documents, and ensure engagement deliverables are complete and accurate.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience working for a public accounting firm.
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior or supervisor role at a public accounting firm.
  • 5+ years of audit experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) License.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to pivot when necessary to meet client deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity and experience with CCH ProSystem Fx Engagement software for audit/review engagements and CCH ProSystem Fx Tax software for tax return preparation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
