Job Title: Hydraulic Systems Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Hydraulics Design Engineer to contribute to the development and installation of hydraulic systems for large mining equipment.

This position involves conceptualization, component/system design, collaboration with suppliers, and on-site build/test support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design hose/tube and mounting bracket configurations in Creo.
  2. Integrate hydraulic components and manage system routing.
  3. Interpret and troubleshoot hydraulic schematics.
  4. Support prototype/pilot builds and in-machine testing.
  5. Validate hydraulic components and perform design calculations.
  6. Analyze bolted joints and conduct finite element analysis (FEA) using Creo Simulate or equivalent.
  7. Apply APQP, GD&T, and BOM management principles.
  8. Collaborate with global teams and suppliers, supporting new product introduction (NPI) and aftermarket services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in hydraulics system/component design.
  • Proficiency in Creo and understanding of hydraulic schematics.
  • Knowledge of material properties, hose fittings, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
