Documentary Intern

As a scientific film production intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on an impactful documentary showcasing India's space science and technology advancements.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Director in script development, research, and creative coordination across the project cycle.
• Conduct research on space initiatives, history, and related topics to inform narrative structures.
• Translate English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding.
• Align the script with visual storytelling approach.

• Film school student or recent graduate interested in scientific films.
• Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
• Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films preferred.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual.

• Hands-on experience working on a national-level film project.
• Mentorship from an experienced Director working on government assignments.
• Exposure to the intersection of cinema, public policy, and science communication.
• Credited internship certificate upon completion.
• Potential opportunity to travel to a space centre facility.
