Key Responsibilities:

  • ">Develop Emerging Fashion Trends
  • Collaborate with leading brands to verify the commercial viability of new trends.
  • Design Colour Boards for each season, incorporating updated shades sourced from suppliers through sample purchases.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify trendy styles or designs that can enhance business performance.
  • Compile comprehensive market benchmarking reports and present findings to the team.
  • Participate in internal reviews to select product ranges in collaboration with the buying team.
  • Visit suppliers for sample development and approval.
  • Obtain lab dip approvals for bulk production.
  • Design artwork for selected products and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Review strike-offs and provide comments for pre-production samples.
  • Collaborate with buyers to provide pre-production sample comments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of total work experience
  • Graduate or Post Graduate degree from a reputable design institution is preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and other necessary software for CADs and illustrations
