Job Title: Freelance Azure Data Factory Specialist

We are seeking an expert data professional to join our team as a freelance Azure Data Factory specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines using Azure ADF.

The role requires a deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and pipeline design. The successful candidate must be able to integrate data from multiple sources, optimize pipelines for performance and cost efficiency, and ensure security and compliance using Azure best practices.

  • Design and Implement Data Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines for ETL and ELT processes, integrating data from multiple sources (on-premise, cloud, structured, and unstructured).
  • Integrate Multiple Data Sources: Integrate data from multiple sources, including on-premise, cloud, structured, and unstructured data.
  • Optimize Pipeline Performance: Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure Security and Compliance: Ensure security, compliance, and monitoring of pipelines using Azure best practices.

The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and pipeline design. Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, SQL Database, and Key Vault is also required. Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, are essential for this role.

Required Skills:

  • Proven hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and pipeline design
  • Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, SQL Database, and Key Vault
  • Experience in parameterization, linked services, datasets, and integration runtimes
  • Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
