Job Title: SAP ABAP HANA Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP HANA Developer to join our team at Arting Digital Private Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces within SAP HANA. Additionally, they will create and maintain data models using Core Data Services (CDS) views and develop Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and OData services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development and Customization

* Design, develop, and customize ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces within SAP HANA.
* Create and maintain data models using Core Data Services (CDS) views.
* Develop Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and OData services.

2. Performance Optimization

* Analyze and optimize existing ABAP programs for performance and efficiency, particularly for HANA databases.
* Implement best practices for coding and performance tuning specific to SAP HANA.

3. Integration

* Integrate SAP systems with third-party applications through APIs, web services, and IDoc interfaces.
* Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

4. Testing and Documentation

* Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Document technical specifications, design documents, and development processes.

5. Troubleshooting and Support

* Identify and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and HANA database queries.
* Provide support for system upgrades and patches, ensuring compatibility and functionality.

6. Collaboration and Communication

* Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

7. Continuous Learning and Improvement

* Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices related to ABAP and HANA development.
* Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

8. Project Involvement

* Contribute to project planning and estimation for ABAP development tasks.
* Collaborate in agile development environments, participating in sprints and stand-ups as needed.

Requirements:

* Proficiency in ABAP programming, experience with SAP HANA database, and knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
* Familiarity with SAP development tools (e.g., Eclipse-based ADT), SAP Fiori, and SAP Gateway.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
