Job Title: Investment Banking Capital Markets Associate


In investment banking, capital markets professionals play a vital role in raising capital and managing financial risk for clients. This involves providing advisory services, identifying market opportunities, conducting research, and performing economic analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their financing needs and objectives.
  • Create complex financial models to assess asset values and identify the most suitable capital raising structures.
  • Collaborate with coverage, M&A, syndicate, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful transaction origination, due diligence, and execution.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with capital markets transactions and develop mitigation strategies aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations on market trends and investment opportunities.
Assistant Vice President Expectations:
  • Offer guidance on complex issues and provide advice to leaders to resolve escalated problems.
  • Identify risk mitigation strategies and develop new policies and procedures in support of control and governance initiatives.
  • Take ownership of risk management and strengthen controls related to work done.
  • Perform tasks closely related to other areas, requiring an understanding of coordination and contribution to organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with business-aligned support areas to stay informed about business activity and strategy.
