HANA Database Administrator Position

Are you an experienced database administrator looking for a challenging role? We are seeking a skilled HANA DBA to join our team. As a HANA DBA, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of our SAP HANA systems.

  • Experience with SAP HANA system architecture and Linux operating systems
  • Expertise in HANA installation, administration, and upgrades
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery management including point-in-time recovery and backup troubleshooting
  • Proficient in HANA Studio for monitoring, performance tuning, and alert management
  • Strong understanding of user and role management, audit log configuration, and enabling traces for performance analysis
  • Skilled in parameter configuration and memory/CPU utilization troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical incident handling, message processing, and root cause analysis
  • Perform installation, patching, upgrades, and migrations of SAP HANA systems
  • Monitor system performance, execute tuning activities, and ensure regular backups and recovery procedures
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for HANA environments
  • Provide technical expertise for system optimization, architecture improvements, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with international teams for knowledge transfer and maintain clear technical documentation
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and mentor junior team members
