Electrical Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead our substation electrical design projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to contribute their expertise and passion for electrical engineering to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage electrical engineering/design for substations, including preparing SLDs, electrical plan layouts, section layouts, clearance diagrams, earth-mat layouts, and lightning protection (DSLP) layouts.
  • Conduct and review electrical engineering calculations applicable in substations, such as short-circuit forces, sag tension, DSLP, earthing design, voltage drop in LT cables, LT/HT cable sizing, rigid and flexible busbar sizing, battery sizing, and more.
  • Prepare power and control cable schedules and review control and protection drawings.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure the availability of all design documents and drawings during asset purchase.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Fluent hands-on experience in electrical engineering design and calculation software.
  • Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and IS standards, as well as CEA regulations and guidelines for substations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
