Job Overview

The role of Senior Statistical Programmer requires experience in all areas of statistical programming. The successful candidate will provide programming support for clinical trials, exceeding expectations and responsibilities.

  • Understand and implement regulatory standards, including CDISC.
  • Follow internal SAS programming conventions.
  • Serve as programming lead on assigned studies, coordinating and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Create and maintain project timelines, supporting the development of tools and macros to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Prepare programming specifications for derived datasets, applying knowledge of SAS programming.
Responsibilities:
  • Program/develop and/or validate statistical outputs according to the statistical analysis plan.
  • Analyze datasets, create tables, listings, and figures, and generate xml/reviewer's guide.
  • Integrate summaries, perform ad hoc analyses, and review case report form design.
  • Mentor junior programmers, maintaining awareness of scope of work and potential change orders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and high-quality statistical outputs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years direct SAS programming experience in pharmaceutical development or CRO environment.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology and conduct and analysis of clinical trials.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry data standards, such as CDISC SDTM, ADaM, etc.
