Job Role:

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Basis expert to spearhead the delivery of complex SAP services for multiple clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead application monitoring and support services across diverse SAP environments including ECC 6.0, S/4HANA, CRM, SCM, BW/4HANA
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers in case of technical issues or challenges
  • Versatile in handling complex customer interactions; aware of escalation processes in service execution
  • Ensure timely delivery of all work items, aligned to defined SLAs; maintain adherence to process guidelines and regulations by the team
  • Prepare performance reports (monthly), issue trackers & open items (weekly), and continuous improvement reports (monthly) for clients
  • Collaborate with customers and SAP internal teams to drive swift resolution of critical issues
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM, Focused Run (FRUN), and ITSM ticketing tools to manage incidents and service delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes or service delivery and driving adoption of AI-based automation
  • Provide performance insights to leadership and stakeholders
  • A guide or mentor to the delivery team from a technical basis perspective – Basis, Security, and Data Growth areas
  • Promptly highlight identified risks for service delivery and governance along with risk response strategies

Key Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis Administration including HANA DB, ABAP/Java stacks, and SAP landscape management
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud ALM, FRUN, and ITSM tools
  • Exposure to SAP modules and systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, CPI, CRM, SCM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field
  • 10 to 12 years of relevant SAP Basis experience, including leadership roles in a 24x7 support environment
  • ITIL certification or working knowledge of ITIL-based processes is preferred
