We are seeking a skilled security professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for detecting and responding to company-wide security incidents, coordinating cross-functional teams to mitigate and eradicate threats.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop use cases to design relevant detection rules based on organizational risks and threats.
- Understand log formats, sources, and parsing to utilize accurate data in use cases.
- Familiarity with SIEM and analytics tools such as Securonix, Sentinel, or Splunk to implement and monitor use cases.
- Define thresholds, logic, and conditions to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy using Alert Logic.
- Awareness of incident response workflows to align use cases with actionable intelligence.
- Skills to create and optimize KPI/KRI reports to track detection and response performance.
- Experience in analyzing alert data to refine use cases and adjust logic periodically.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SOC operations.
- Strong understanding of organizational risks and threats.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions during security incidents.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
