Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to implement and manage DevSecOps practices across AWS and Azure environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, with hands-on expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

This is a 12-Month Contract and extendable opportunity that requires the ability to work closely with system administrators and security teams to enforce cloud security posture management.

The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and remediating vulnerabilities within cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage DevSecOps practices across AWS and Azure environments.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Define, implement, and monitor IAM guardrails and access management best practices.
  • Support security and compliance requirements by leveraging tools like Wiz and Remote PC.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to enforce cloud security posture management.
  • Monitor, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities within cloud environments.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of DevSecOps processes into our ecosystem.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud Security best practices and security controls.
  • Experience managing systems and security in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM guardrails with practical experience in implementation.
  • Familiarity with Wiz (cloud security posture management).
  • Experience working with Remote PC setups in enterprise environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Educational Background:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A master's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.

Certifications:

Candidates should hold relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Azure Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
