Data Migration Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our SAP data migration projects. The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience in data migration using BODS/Migration Cockpit or Syniti ADM.

  • Expertise in migrating data from SAP and non-SAP systems to S/4 HANA on-premises, including full life cycle implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BODS, Migration Cockpit, and Syniti ADM, with a minimum of 2 successful projects under their belt.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL designs, SAP Data Services 4.2, S/4 HANA Migration Cockpit, and various migration tools like LTMC, LTMOM.
  • Experience in BODS Designer Components, including Projects, Jobs, Workflow, Data Flow, Scripts, Data Stores, and Formats.
  • Understanding of SAP process areas and legacy systems, with expertise in SAP ABAP.
Key Responsibilities
  • Designing technical migration solutions for S/4 HANA data migration projects.
  • Developing data migration programs and strategies for conversion of master and transactional data from legacy systems to SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Collaborating with functional teams to achieve business results and disseminating information across the team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data migration processes that meet the company's requirements. This includes creating detailed project plans, managing resources, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of migrated data into the new system.

In this role, the data migration expert will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data migration, as well as SAP technologies. They will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with data migration, and developing contingency plans to address any issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. They will also have excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
