Job Description

A seasoned integration professional with expertise in designing, developing, and implementing web services using the WebMethods platform is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web service protocols, API gateway management, and microservices architecture.

This role involves:

  • Designing and developing scalable integration solutions using WebMethods Integration Server, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, and API Gateway.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Developing services and interfaces using WebMethods components and technologies.
  • Maintaining technical documentation for integration processes and interfaces.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues in development and production environments.
  • Performing regular system maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning.
  • Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance across all systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 410 years of hands-on experience with WebMethods development (Note: This requirement may need adjustment)
  • Strong knowledge of WebMethods components: Integration Server, Designer, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, and API Gateway.
  • Proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Experience with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, HTTP/S).
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns and enterprise service bus (ESB) concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex integration environments.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience with the following would be advantageous:

  • Exposure to WebMethods IO and hybrid integration architectures.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of API management and microservices architecture.
