Senior Software Engineering Lead

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineering Lead to drive the development of high-performance, robust and resilient systems for our organization.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading software engineering teams and developing complex software solutions using industry-recognised frameworks and technologies.

You will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance applications, ensuring that our systems follow excellent architectural and engineering principles, and monitoring technical progress against plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of complex software systems
  • Develop high-performance applications using industry-recognised frameworks and technologies
  • Maintain and improve existing software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and performance optimisation
  • Experience of leading the design and development of complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions
  • Knowledge of industry recognised frameworks and development tooling
  • Experience of test-driven development and using automated test frameworks, mocking and stubbing, and unit testing tools
