Senior Microbiologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our team at Par Formulations. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing a range of microbiological tests, including microbial limit testing, bioburden testing, and endotoxin testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbial limit testing to determine the presence of microorganisms in products, raw materials, and in-process samples.
• Perform bioburden testing to assess the level of microorganisms in bulk samples at different stages.
• Conduct endotoxin testing to ensure product safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Carry out sterility testing and bacteriostasis/fungistasis testing for finished products in an isolator.
• Develop and implement method validations and suitability testing for microbiological tests.
• Perform biological indicator testing of various types of biological indicators.
• Maintain detailed records of all testing procedures and results.
• Perform laboratory GLP activities, including instrument calibration and requalification.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to microbiological testing and methodologies.
