Job Opportunity

The Senior Associate for Revenue Recognition plays a pivotal role in ensuring revenue recognition aligns with applicable accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed reviews of contracts to guarantee revenue recognition adheres to accounting standards.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries for revenue and associated accounts.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual external audits, providing supporting documentation and responding to auditor requests.
  • Navigate multiple internal relationships within the organization, including Operations, General Ledger Accounting, IT, etc.
  • Perform various ad hoc revenue analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Accountable for other special projects assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the ASC 606 revenue recognition standard and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Requirements:

  • Experience in public accounting or professional services is highly preferred.
  • CA / CPA certification is an asset.
