Senior Software Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior software architect to join our team. As a key member of our Power Feature Enablement team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative software solutions that enable the next generation of APUs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and lead the multi-functional Power Feature Enablement team to deliver new APU products.
  • Collaborate across engineering teams and subject areas, including silicon, firmware, hardware, and software.
  • Coordinate issue debugging and drive issues to closure.
  • Pull together meetings, set up clear agendas, and follow up on action items.
  • Deliver regular progress updates toward program goals.
  • Making tough decisions based on partial or incomplete data.
  • Drive continuous improvement for post-silicon power and performance activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in audio domain, specifically DSP firmware development.
  • Strong C/C++ development skills with a good understanding of object-oriented design.
  • Good understanding of audio fundamentals.
  • Experience with Linux Audio (ALSA ASoC) Framework.
  • Experience with audio transmission protocols like I2S/TDM, audio DAC/ADC.
  • Experience with audio DSP firmware development.
  • Experience working with one or more DSP IPs (TI, Cadence, ADI, etc...).
  • System knowledge, System Debugging, firmware debugging using JTAG.
  • Experience with multi-core DSP architecture and inter-processor communication.
  • Experience with one or more audio post processing frameworks such as Audio Weaver Engine, Xtensa Audio Framework.
  • Experience with ALSA user lib, plugins, configurations, and parameters.
  • Understanding of schematics and using hardware equipment such as logic analyzer, oscilloscope.
