Data Innovation Specialist

The role involves leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI-powered solutions. We utilize exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning to drive business outcomes.

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ of DS/Operations Research experience.\
• Experience in optimization methodologies, including use of various optimization libraries (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi, or-tools).\
• Strong Python coding skills, including object-oriented programming concepts, and basic working knowledge of SQL.\
• Experience working in cloud technologies (preferred MS Azure, GCP nice-to-have).\
• Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts.\
• Experience in CRISP-DM project delivery and Agile project management (Scrum, Kanban).\
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.\
• Ability to apply independent research and give recommendations on diverse scope problems.\
• Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\
• Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., R) is a plus.\
• Experience working with client-facing roles is beneficial.\
• A strong statistical/mathematical background is required.\
• Proactive approach for areas where improvement is needed.\
• Creation and following of standards to improve competency quality.\
• Knowledge of optimization methodologies, including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics.\
• Experience in working in matrix organizations is welcomed.\
• Understanding and experience in applying Data Science/Machine Learning methods to Supply Chain areas (Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory, or Sustainability).\
• Experience working with big data platforms is a plus.\

As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing predictive models to analyzing complex data sets. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, transforming them into technical plans, and executing data processing and feature engineering tasks. Additionally, you will be expected to evaluate and deploy models, as well as communicate findings to stakeholders.
