Job Title: Solar Project Manager">

The Role Overview includes overseeing end-to-end execution of solar projects from initiation to commissioning, ensuring strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Strategy: Define and execute detailed project execution plans aligned with organizational objectives, develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Project Execution & Monitoring: Oversee daily site progress, coordinate with site engineers and contractors, implement corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.
  • Engineering & Technical Oversight: Review and validate engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications, ensure compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.
  • Stakeholder & Team Management: Lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management, manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
  • Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and EHS standards at site, conduct quality audits and inspections at various stages of the project, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Closure & Handover: Supervise testing, commissioning, and performance trials, ensure proper documentation, certifications, and statutory approvals.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy or equivalent, 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC / Utility / C&I projects.
  • Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects, strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
  • Experience in contract management, procurement, and vendor management.
