U.S. Real Estate Accounts Payable Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Specialist with experience in U.S.-based accounting. This role involves managing accounts payable for a portfolio of U.S. real estate properties.
About the RoleThis position focuses on processing invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments accurately and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Manage vendor onboarding, updates, and issue resolution to maintain positive relationships.
- Support month-end close, accruals, and reporting activities by providing accurate financial data.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for invoice coding and approvals.
- Prepare payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP and IRS regulations related to AP.
- Monitor cash flow and track payment schedules to optimize financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (desired).
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably with U.S.-based accounting exposure.
- Experience in the U.S. real estate sector is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, particularly Yardi.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IRS regulations related to AP.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under deadlines.
