Retail Operations Transformation Lead

We are seeking a seasoned transformation professional to spearhead business process enhancements across retail operations, driving operational efficiency and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, developing functional specifications aligned with strategic objectives.

This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholder management, and effective onboarding. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting workshops to understand client pain points, business processes, reporting & dashboarding requirements.
  • Developing functional specifications from business requirements.
  • Identifying feature/reporting/dashboarding gaps and collaborating with technical teams to address them.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to marketing, operations, and IT teams.
  • Ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Deploying functional specifications in software (reports, dashboards, models, audiences etc).
  • Training super users of clients on the platform.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience in retail consulting, business analysis, or solution delivery.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations: POS, loyalty, CRM, inventory, and customer experience.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation tools & how they function.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
