Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer III

  • Develops and maintains a culture of reliability within the organization by creating, implementing, and enforcing best practices.
  • Collaborates with software engineers and teams to design and implement deployment approaches using automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable, available, and reliable applications and platforms.
  • Leads the implementation of infrastructure as code for applications and platforms, ensuring consistency and efficiency throughout the organization.
  • Collaborates with technical experts and key stakeholders to resolve complex problems and improve overall system performance.
  • Stays up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure the organization is leveraging the latest tools and methodologies.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Strong understanding of site reliability culture and principles, including knowledge of how to implement site reliability within an application or platform.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net.
  • Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a given technical discipline, such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, or Android development.
  • Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, and others.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration, including ECS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Ability to contribute to large and collaborative teams by presenting information in a logical and timely manner with compelling language and limited supervision.
  • Ability to proactively recognize roadblocks and demonstrate interest in learning technology that facilitates innovation.
  • Ability to identify new technologies and relevant solutions to ensure design constraints are met by the software team.
