The Senior Infrastructure Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's infrastructure landscape by overseeing the development of Automation, Enterprise Systems Management (ESM), and CICD technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership Role: Collaborate with engineering, product, and security stakeholders to execute team strategy and drive business objectives.
• Design Expertise: Direct high-level design for stable, secure infrastructure environments aligned with organizational needs and compliance standards.
• Team Management: Allocate tasks, manage workload distribution, and maintain 24/7 coverage with an organized on-call schedule.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Core Infrastructure leads to enhance automation, processes, and resolve user challenges.
• Support: Oversee daily support for internal tools and infrastructure, managing customer support contracts.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate process documentation, including assessments and measurements for projects and team outputs.
• Tech Expertise: Manage installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of network and infrastructure components.
• Audit Reporting: Provide audit reporting and recommend improvements for infrastructure performance and health.
• Team Development: Coach and develop team members, fostering upskilling, performance, and recruitment.
• Process Improvement: Drive process improvement and champion infrastructure engineering best practices and trends.

Managerial Responsibilities:

• Goal Setting: Collaborate with the Head of Infrastructure to set and communicate team goals aligned with business objectives.
• Talent Acquisition: Recruit, coach, and retain top talent, creating development opportunities.
• Work Environment: Cultivate a positive, motivating work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Infrastructure Expertise: Proven experience in Infrastructure Management, Architecture, and Design.
• Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Automation & Orchestration: Strong knowledge of Automation & Orchestration tools and techniques.
• Code-Based Infrastructure: Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
• Virtualization: Familiarity with Virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Backup Solutions: Knowledge of Backup Solutions like Netbackup and Veeam.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Monitoring tools such as Icinga, SCOM, Telegraf, Grafana, and ELK.
• IT Security: Understanding of Incident, Change, IT Security, Disaster Recovery, and Asset Management principles.
• Scripting: Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell.
