Job Title

A Principal Scientist for Bioformulations is needed to lead our research group and drive product development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of scientists, developing novel bioformulations, and collaborating with internal departments to commercialize products.

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with expertise in plant molecular biology, crop science, and agri-input formulations. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in a related field and at least 12 years of postdoctoral experience in Agri-biotech companies or biotechnology industries.

The job requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of scientists and researchers in developing novel bio-based formulations for crop improvement and protection.
  2. Manage research projects, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient resource use and timely milestone completion.
  3. Collaborate closely with other internal departments to facilitate seamless product development and commercialization.
  4. Develop and implement processes to safeguard intellectual property, including patent application preparation and submission.
Requirements
  • A Ph.D. in Plant Biology, Crop Science, Agricultural Biotechnology, Agri-input Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum 12 years of postdoctoral experience in Agri-biotech companies or biotechnology industries focused on Agri-input formulations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing novel bio-based formulations for crop improvement and protection.
  • Strong command of fundamental plant molecular biology techniques.
  • Proven ability to lead highly skilled teams in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and technical environments.
