Entry-Level Diamond Lab Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Diamond Lab Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to embark on a specialized career in diamonds, learning the intricacies of quality assessment, grading, and lab operations.

Job Description:

  • Assist senior technicians and graders in their daily tasks, ensuring exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Learn and apply the basics of diamond characteristics, including the 4Cs (Carat, Cut, Color, Clarity).
  • Handle, sort, and organize diamonds and precious stones with precision, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Familiarize yourself with and assist in the operation of specialized lab equipment, such as microscopes and analytical tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment within the Diamond Lab.
  • Accurately record and document observations and data as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of gemology, jewelry, or materials science.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
